The term defining the act of scratching the scrotum sack for the purpose of relief. The prominent time of day of scroatching is just after waking up when the scrotum is sweaty and itchy. However, times can vary.

This morning I woke up and had to scroatch myself good. It did the trick!

My baby rolled over and gave me a scroatch for good luck!

Scroat from the latin scrotum which means thief. However the more commonly used version for scroat refers to a scally, chav, townie. Can be recognised by distinctive tracksuits, shit trainers, white cider, and can often be heard shouting, "oi you dick 'ed" , "giv us your shoes guy", "WhAT YOU SAYIN? YOU STARTIN OR WHAT!!!"
