A nub nade is usually used in on-line gaming when someone gets off a random and/or lucky grenade. The attack has little or no thought behind it and is usually a last ditch effort. Nubs tend to do this rather often, so the 'technique' was named accordingly.
Out of game it is used to imply a "cheap shot" or "low blow".

In Game Example
Gamer 1: WTF!? He killed you?
Gamer 2: Yeah, hit me with a nub nade
Gamer 1: Wow... you suck. lol
Out of Game Example
Boy 1: *Gets sucker punched*
Boy 2: Nub nadded!

Slang term for the plasma grenade on Halo video games, thus called because it sticks to the target when contacting them directly, effectively killing them no matter what condition their shields are in

A term used before a teammate deploys a grenade('nade') or frag into an enemy position. It's used as a warning to prevent one's team from getting owned by friendly nade fire. Can also be used as a question or to signify the enemy has deployed a nade. A good command for the team that uses tactics, instead of prey and spray.

Short for Grenade of Hope it refers to a player throwing a random grenade to an unspecified area.
The player does this to either cause chaos on enemy lines, hurt an enemy, or even kill a weakened opponent.
This tactic can be used at anytime however it is mostly used when both teams/players have one kill left until victory.
Used primarily in shooters like Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4.
