Language LARPing

When somebody on the internet writes in a langauge (mainly non-Latin) that they absolutely know nothing about. It is either garbled nonsense or something understandable translated via Google translate, but mostly the former.

Completing meaningless tasks which provide solely artificial (and no real-world) value. Jumping through hoops put there for the sake of it as opposed to achieve anything.

Person 1: "On my degree course I learned next to nothing useful, I felt like all I had to do was larp to meet a large word count."

Person 2: "Same here, my final assignment was just me larping for 10,000 words."
