Lean AKA Purple Drank is a drink usually represented in the HipHop music industry. It consists of Codeine cough syrup mixed with Sprite soda, Jolly Ranchers, and ice cubes. People will drink “Lean” as a substitute for alcohol, but most will drink it because it tastes amazing.

Lean is a mixture of cough syrup, soda and some times jolly ranchers. The reason for its addictiveness being that the cough syrup used to make lean has the drug codeine in it (an opioid). The soda usually being sprite (but you can use any type of soda). and the jolly ranchers are optional. It is called lean because when the drug takes over it makes you lean. ZEZE.
