Used to describe a characteristic or trait that may appear extremely pompous, but for a person displaying kenism, it is completely true. While delivering a kenism statement, it is imperative to maintain an extremely straight face since by definition the statement can be misinterpreted as being pompous

As humans we are material beings and value possessions, but he displayed kenism when he said, "I am a minimalist"
