Hypothethically: it is hypothetically ethical in a technical sense, but this is probably untrue or incorrect.
“Hypothethically sourced Down” - referring to duck down sourced for the outdoor industry. It is supposed to be ethically sourced, however probably still involves the damage to/suffering of the donor ducks!

The dishonest practice of creating a hypothetical situation so extreme, that any honest answer to it would make the defending party seem utterly morally dubious to force a dishonest concession rather than any actual logical consensus on the topic.
"If god told you to kill a baby would you do it? Because in the old testament in the book of Samuel; he did!!"
"That's a "Hyperthetical" God wouldn't make us do that in a post new covenant world!"
