A memetic edible creature on CT (aka CryptoTwitter), originally cartoon pseudonymous user Maru, but it was forced and popularized by sock-puppet master Stardust with his enormous army of alt accounts and therefore now has a much broader reach and meaning in
the community. Wassies can be collected/harvested("collec"), kept
in the fridge, be eaten raw or cooked into soup or ragu, however, it is also popular to keep a wassie as a house pet nowadays.
