Wikidrift is the process in which you proceed through different topics only by using the links available on that certain page.
It usually occurs when the other topic is of more interest to yourself than the one you are currently viewing, having a higher occurance when one is studying.

Get the Wikidrift mug.Similar to google drift, but using the search on Wikipedia. It is actually far easier to get much farther off topic when wikidrifting, becuase of the links attached to every word in a Wikipedia entry that has it's own entry.
One day I was trying to find out how to correctly spell "the Fonz" so I looked him up and somehow wikidrifted to the entry for "portmanteau."
