Often overshadowed by more famous players such as Tracy Mcgrady and Kobe Bryant, Pierce continues to slog away at hopes of earning a championship, but may just go down in history as a player who never got one, like Patrick Ewing. He was stabbed 11 times in the upper body but survived in 2000.
