A phrase used to indicate that something is done and final. Popularized by Kenny "The Jet" Smith during the 2000 NBA All-Star Weekend Slam Dunk Competition after Vince Carter's first dunk.

A term used by Black Gay men in the 90s to define a level of fierceness. Could also mean the opposite.

1)You've arrived in a Rolls Royce, dressed in fur with your man in your arms and have lots of money, jet setting all over the world...Ooh Gurl IT'S OVA FOR YOU GURRRLLL!

Jamaican for "understand". Used exclusively by jamaicans, unlike other jamaican english words.

"Aight, wog 1 fred"
"Don u ovastan man, i dun wanna talk to yuh anymoh"
"I don't geh woh der is to ovastan"

Translation:

"Alright, how are you fred? What's up?"
"Don't yuou understand, i don't want to talk to you anymore!"
