A bunch of
cock-asses who think that playing the drums makes them the coolest, and most talented
people in the band. They usually come with the following idiosyncrasies:
1) They believe that breaking drum sticks means that you are playing so well, that the sheer intesity of thier playing destroys the stick. This is actually caused by the stick hitting the rim of the drum repeatedly, causing it to
break.
2) Most of them cannot actually read music. They prefer to beat out
random rythms and call it interpretation, when in
fact their beats are rarely accurate.
3) They believe that during solos, the object is not to play something that makes sense, but to play as many notes on as many drums as possible in the allotted
time.
4) They believe that playing louder actually means that you play better than everyone else.
5) They believe that the only topic of discussion from anyone at any
time should be about drums, drummers, drumming, or any piece of the word drum, and any
random suffix.
6) They believe that the more percussion instruments
one owns equals the level of skill one has.
7) They believe that the movie "Drumline," was written and created for the sole purpose of stealing and using the cadences in the movie and calling them their own.
A: Oh Man! This cadence is so tight! I'm like the coolest person alive!
B:
Douche...
A: That solo was sweet! I used like 40 Floor Toms!
B:
Douche...
A: The drumline is the most important part of the band!
B:
Douche...
