Crimping often thought to have been invented by "The Mighty
Boosh" actually shows up much earlier in pop culture, in movies and television. One example is the 1988 memorable block buster "Big" feature Tom Hanks. The young Hanks Character and his freand, do a blatent display of crimping, much earlier than "The
Boosh"
