Due to the euphoric nature of narcotic painkillers and anti-anxiety medications, and their easy accessibility, many Americans today are indeed pillmatic. A person who is pillmatic is not a drug addict, but will seize any convenient
opportunity to take pharmaceutical drugs, such as stealing them from a
medicine cabinet for or friends who have undergone surgery. Pillmatics are created daily due to injuries, emotional pain, or boredom. Some drugs pillmatic people will most likely seek include the following trade names: narcotics: vicodin, percocet, oxycontin, dilaudid, tramadol, demerol, opana, morphine, and benzos which include: xanax, ativan, klonopin, valium, and many others.
