Potaua

Potaua is a name given by Maori to a child who they believe will continue to keep alive their customs, language and traditions. Potaua is considered a leader amongst leaders, able to quickly survey the environment, develop innovative plans and able to start work and inspire others. Potaua draws on Maori war traditions though is raised to love peace.
