The passed tense of photoshopping an image to make you believe something was photographed, when in reality the incident never occured. Good examples at fark.com
When an image is altered by an image manipulation program such as Adobe Photoshop (from where the adjective is derived), it is said to be shopped. This usually has the connotation that the subject matter is impossible or unrealistic, such as unusually sized mammaries or unexpected phalluses.
Abbreviation of Photoshop, the original app where photography can be altered. Specifically, where someone’s face/body appears unusually perfect in print or screen. Can also be used for implying other fakery, such as autotune in music, or anything which aims to sell (ie: being sold at shop)
Cynical people who constantly feel the need to comment "shopped" or "photoshopped" at almost every thing they encounter on the internet believing they are saving others from believing liars and fakers. Sometimes they are right but ironically they are now in fact making people believe real, truthful things are actually SHOPPED! They usually come out in large numbers and drown out all other conversation.
Bill123: Woah, that photo of a clown fish is pretty amazing
WoLfcry24: ITS SHOPPED DUMASSES!
Bill123: Uh, Clownfishes are real...
WoLfcry24: No, that weird "fish" is obviouslyphotoshopped, trust me I can tell retard.
