pediquake

Combine that lower human extremity with that seismic earth-born destruction and, viola! - this reckless bouncing of the foot (or feet!) occurs when one is anxious, nervous, excited, thinking a lot...or simply because it's what they do for no reason at all.
I then look down to discover the pediquake epicenter originating from my bouncing left foot. Ugh. Damn those racing thoughts!

You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue?
