1) The shortsighted fix or cheap update of an urban icon to make it appear in better condition than it really is.

1) The city council decided on the urbandaid of a new coat of paint on the dilapidated park restrooms, rather than fix the broken plumbing and leaky roofs.

urbandickster

1. Someone who submits words to urbandictionary.com for consideration of inclusion to their online dictionary.
2. One the editors at urbandictionary.com who decides whether an urbandickster gets his/her word added to the ever expanding list of words and phrases.

While waiting to find out if my newly submitted word would be accepted by the urbandicksters at urbandictionary.com, this urbandickster thought up the word urbandickster and submitted it. If it didn't get accepted, you wouldn't be reading this.

Arnold Dignard is so consumed with urban dictionary that he has become a celebrity in his own mind, publishing words left and right. He's an urbandicster for sure.
