tinterval

1. n. A person who keeps all the fairies of Hyrule and 2000 Asian men in their closet; also, one who speaks loudly during class without realizing it.
2. n. Mr. Barraclough's way of saying T-interval in Statistics, so named because of the TI Calculator's "TInterval" function.
Jackie called Kaddie a tinterval because she keeps all the fairies of Hyrule and 2000 Asians locked up in her closet. She snapped back very loudly, whilst in AP Stats class, "YOU'RE A TINTERVAL!"

None-Interval

A word invented by Aiden Kenway, which is the smallest unit of measurement in the digital audio workstation "FL Studio" that you can move MIDI notes in the piano roll. This can also be applied to moving clips in the playlist.

Note: The exact size of a "none-interval" depends on the timebase (PPQ) of the project. For instance, when the timebase of a project is 192, the "none-interval" becomes an even smaller measurement than the standard timebase of 96.

Trivia: A "true none-interval" is the smallest possible none-interval in FL Studio, wherein the timebase (PPQ) of a project is 960, the highest possible timebase currently offered in the DAW. Therefore, a "true none-interval" is the smallest unit of measurement in FL Studio at the highest timebase.
The opening snare sample in Kanye West's "Ni**as In Paris" plays off-beat by 2 none-intervals.

Interval Sleeping

When you are extremely stressed for exams and you go to sleep and then wake up and hour or so later and then go to sleep and wake up again etc.
Interval sleeping has been driving me insane because I have to be rested for my exams

Wallet Interval

The interval of time before you can take your pants off to masturbate when your partner/parents leave the house to avoid your partner catching you when they come back to find their wallet.
"I went to milk it but my wallet interval was too short and he caught me with my headphones on and my dildo in."

"Yeah, botched my wallet interval last night. Mum caught me. Wasn't like in the porn at all."

We're gonna go up to "snap to grid" and choose "none", then were gonna select the entire "piano roll" and bring it forward by 2 "None-Interval"

confidence interval

(STATISTICS) a range of values for which you are x percent confident contains the correct answer. Answers to a statistical question which are ranged from the lowest likely value to the highest; answers outside of this range are highly unlikely.

Presupposes that you are estimating a value based on sample data, and the sample data has a genuinely random variance.

Usually the confidence interval is for a 95% confidence, meaning there is only a 5% probability that the true value is OUTSIDE the interval.
ANNA: I've been driving your car for about a month.

JAMES: And what you think is the MPG?

ANNA: It's probably about 25 MPG, with a 95% confidence interval of 19.5 to 32 MPG.

JAMES: Holy cow! Any Prussians in your family tree?

winterval

The sum of all festivities taking place around the middle of winter (Northern hemisphere). This triumph of political correctness was invented in 1998 by Birmingham City Council. It is a contraction of winter and interval. It embraces the mix of Neopagan, Jewish, African American, Christian and secular fesitivals that occur at this time.
"Happy non-denominational, multi-cultural mid-winter festival Alan."
"Probably not, Ray, I'm going to my parents for Winterval. But thanks anyway."
