Me.
Not You by Himiko_Toga April 25, 2023
A person, other than yourself, who likes what you like and wants what you want. Not-yous frequently attend the same open houses as you, jockey for the same job or promotion as you, crush on the same person as you, and even dress like you.
Woman: "Oh my God, I love this house. Do you think I'll get it?"
Man: "Maybe. A 3-bed, 2-bath with a walk-in closet and a bidet in a good school district is going to be pretty popular. Let's hope you found it before not-you could.

It's not you it's me

A phrase used when terminating a relationship. Usually used to confuse and/or draw attention away from the real reason the relationship is ending, because of the emotionally painful nature of the reason.

Rarely used in person, more often used in phone converstions, e-mails and voicemails.
He was a nice guy, but he was as good in bed as a cement block. So I called him up last night and told him it was over, but it wasn't him it was me.

it's not you, it's me.

1)The biggest lie ever... truly means, "its not me, its you."
2)A warning sign for getting dumped.
3)A way to get out of a relationship while causing yourself the least amount of grief possible.
"We need to talk."
"About what John?"
"Sally... its not you... its me."
