Everyone admired my new Prius and the solar collectors on my house, till my neighbor bought an all-electric car and put up a wind turbine. Now I'm suffering from profound greenness envy.
The art of skillfully gesturing someone to roll down their car window at a stop light after witnessing them successfully pick their nose and eating it, by a using hand cranking gesture. When they roll their window down ask them if they would be willing to trade you "2 greenies (2-GREEN colored boogers) for a blackie." (a BLACK colored booger)
A) Letting them know you actually watched them the whole time, while they excavated around in their nose for their boogers & then ate them.
B) Embarrassingthe fuck out of the nasty bastard for subjecting you to having witness that disgusting act they performed while in traffic, at that stop light.
C) Hopefully reminding them in not so many(unspoken)words, other than what you already said to them- it's a filthy habit that they should have given up as a small child.
"Hey dude that looked pretty tasty, and I didn't have my lunch yet. Yours look way
better than mine, bummer. Next time I'll trade you 2 greenies for a blackie."
Usually used in sports related situations (but also applicable to all life situations), conservation of greatness describes a situation where a person has just done something earth shatteringly amazing, and then immediately proceeds to attempt another amazing action. The second action has 1% chance of doubling the glory, and a 99% chance of failure, which includes a 50% chance of making the person look like an absolute fool.
'Conservation of greatness' is rarely used as part of a statement, but instead is the entire statement, said after witnessing the the failed follow up action.
Said with great joy when an opposing team fails to compensate for conservation of greatness, but with utter frustration when your own team mate has just made a fool of himself.
An environmentalist who practices 'traditional' outdoor skills and pursuits (hunting/fishing/winemaking, etc) on the grounds that they represent a more sustainable local alternative to industrial agriculture. The word's origin is rooted in someone who acts like a redneck, for "green" motives.
"I neverfigured that greenneck would be able to fit an elk his shot with the bow and arrow into the back of his hybrid Prius, but he 'got-er-dun'".
