Someone who has just come out of the closet recently. 1-2 years is the time span of when someone could be qualified as a baby gay. Baby gays usually instantly love everything that’s rainbow and just generally have that innocent glee of just coming out. We must protect them.

Someone who has just come out of the closet and is acting like they are now a skittle as a full time job.
They never shut up about their latest gay Netflix show or their obsession with girl in red and clairo.
To identify these vermin:
They often carry pride flags around with them to show strangers how gay they are.
Many have dyed hair in the following colours: red, green, blue and yellow.
Many hold hands and kiss when they aren’t even in a relationship, this can be in places you never would have thought of like graveyards and some even in funerals.

Person2:(red hair carrying a pride flag holding their *besties* hand and listening to girl in red) NO IM NOT, HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO ME, IVE BEEN GAY FOR A WHOLE 2 WEEKS AND NEXT WEEK IM EVEN GOING ON A DATE WITH MY BESTIE TO A BOBA SHOP. THATS HOMOPHOBIC.

Baby Gay 

A ‘baby gay’ is a fruity individual who recently came out of the closet. Baby gay’s may wear a lot of rainbows, maybe speak in ‘cringy’ slang such as “Gay panic!” or “Ew, a straggot!”, they are just as ‘cringy’ and ‘innocent’ as they come.

You would be considered a baby gay if you recently came out of the closet in the past couple years, but more specifically how you act when you do. It’s not exactly a bad thing, every fruity individual went through their ‘cringy Cavetown and rainbow everything’ phase.

Whatever you do though, don’t intervene—it’s canon.

“Woah look at them! They are all rainbow and sparkles!”
“Awwe a baby gay! They must be protected at all costs!”
