An area that is quite possibly the greatest area in California. It makes up the peninsula of the Bay Area. First founded on August 2nd, 1997 after it split from the evil area code of the 415. People from San Francisco (415) and San Jose (408) hate on the 650 because they are jealous.

650 will kill the 408 anyday.

Area code in the Bay Area. located on the peninsula pretty much inbetween San Francisco (415) and San Jose (408). Sometimes called "West Bay" although there's really no such thing.

Some cities cities in 650 are:
SAN CARLOS, Burlingame, East Palo Alto, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Millbrae, Pacifica, Palo Alto, Redwood City, San Bruno, and San Mateo. Sorry if I forgot some

Belmont is also in 650, although it is one of the crappiest cities ever.

I've lived in 650 since '93, in San Carlos. Hella tight area, though 619's not bad.
