V5 is a part of VEX robotics that involves working with metal, saws, drills, etc.
The robots look like battlebots, but made by 13-18 yr olds
Competitors build robots that have the ability to score points in a game that resets every season.
Competitors that dabble in Vex V5 have almost no life and are almost always on a type of spectrum.
Ratio of boys to girls competing in vex V5 are 20:1
Men competing in Vex V5 have low-no chance to get a girlfriend because of their lack of experience in talking to the
opposite sex.
The only hope is that she also likes anime.
The goal of Vex V5 is to win a spot in your home country to be able to fly out to america to compete in what is known as Worlds, a giant competition spanning 8 days which includes 4 teams per participating country.
After that, you hope to win Worlds and get a scholarship by some robotics company to some ivy league school and get a high paying job in said robotics company.
Most people will never even see the aeroplane to Worlds because
1. Not good enough
2. No funding from GOV
3. America’s second amendment dissuades most schools outside of USA from letting their students go to america.
