Hobbit Love 

An almost, but not homosexual love between two very close friends. This type of love refers to the love shared by Sam and Frodo in The Lord of the Rings series.

My friend and I went to the movies together. My friend looked embarrassed so I told everyone that we had Hobbit Love.

A seldom used Irish and UK phrase for leaving the tea bag in the cup when you make a cup of tea. reason for calling it Hobbit tea is cause it is Baggins (bag in) tea.

Jay - "Ally would you like a cup of tea"

Ally - "Yup, make it Hobbit tea"

Jay - "What now?"

Ally - "With the bag in, get it?"

Jay - "Ahhh Baggins, I get it, funny"

Law that is introduced as a knee jerk reaction, usually to erode the rights at work of people at work.

the Employment Relations (Film Production Work) Amendment Bill introduced to the NZ parliament on October 28, 2010 is being called The Hobbit Law. It seeks to make all film industry workers contractors by default.
