refers to a culture or belief system in which safety has become a sacred value which means that people become unwilling to make trade-offs demanded by other practical and moral concerns

The word "Safetyism" comes from Jonathan Haidt's book "The Coddling of the American Mind".

Zombie Safety Count 

Your personal "zombie safety count" is based upon how many full force swings you can make with either a bat or a machete against an upright, free-standing wood log. You swing the bat/machete against the log until you tire: the number of full-force swings is your "Zombie Safety Count", roughly how large a group of zombies you can effectively handle before you're overwhelmed.

The notion being that if a zombie apocalypse breaks out and you're not armed with a firearm, you're going to be swinging for the fences .... at least for a little while.

I went outside today with my bat, hit the log and realized my zombie safety count is rather low: 3 swings and my hands hurt beyond belief and I couldn't lift the bat any more. I'm dead meat.

safeword 

A safeword conserns BDSM sexual acts. In BDSM, begging to stop increases pleasure and reality. A safeword is used to actually mean "stop", since screams for stop aren't sincere. The safeword is usually a normal word, like "pink", "banana", or "door" and is determined before starting play.

Safe girls 

A term used by self proclaimed queen bees who ironically have lost their status or never had it to begin with, yet remain completely oblivious of their demotion in society. These former queen bees use the term Safe Girls to derogatorily describe the ex’s new girlfriend in an attempt to discredit the new girlfriend’s beauty and intelligence and to encourage others to buy into her fantasy that she, the queen bee, is not the trifling, insignificant, bitter person she has become.

Hey I heard your ex started dating again and that she is smart and beautiful!

Oh I met her. She’s just one of his safe girls. He wishes he was with me.
