Noun. - A person in between childhood and teenhood, approx. 12-14 years old, mostly used to describe females only. This specific distinction appeared when corporations realized that tweens were a specific, marketable demographic with purchasing power of their own. Now, tween-oriented products such as The Jonas Brothers and tween lifestyle guides like iCarly exist.

I can't believe this generation! I just saw a bunch of tweens with makeup and miniskirts marching into Forever 21.

Im 9..and stupid teenagers say that "Tweens are annoying teenager wannabes and Hannah Montana Lovers"And all that other crap and we dont TlK lIk Dis..I dont even like the Jonas Brothers my favorite band is the Pentaonix its kind of a acapella band plus Hannah Montana barely comes on like..bruhh they call us spits for no reason I want foundation bc I have acne I've never seen a Tween wear packed make-up on there face just chill out tweens go through alot we dont know if we're a child or Teen we have stress in our lives so Teens should really stop hating like I dont understand who TLLK LK DI S like...cmon now. And before this is over I just wanna say we go too Rue 21 or Hot Topic or Forever 21 if u read there description its for tweens and all the way until 21 we shop there bc were getting older and like different stuff we dont buy the crop tops tho there...too old

Idiotic 10-14 year olds that are heavily obsessed with looks and boys. They often hang out in packs and giggle inanely like schoolgirls do but more often. tHey LyK To TyPe LyK DiZ and tote around mobile phones and empty backpacks, and wear Supre or whatever the hell's in fashion at the moment. They also listen to shitty music like the Backstreet Boys, the Jonas Brothers, and parade their boyfriends around as if they're proud of them.

Then, under constant attack are easily manipulated into the sole means of defense at her disposal, attacking her own kind. She is protected and supported by none thereby making her feel her own fears and wishes all the more acutely. Due to such thoughtless ridicule by those ready to mock, deride, taunt, and humiliate for their own benefit and solely to her expense, one of the most precious times in her life, a time to begin to know herself as a person, is squandered, not just to the girl herself but to the society and culture to which she counts herself and contributes. One of the most lethal aspects of her dilemma is the cynical, nihilistic, soul killing twaddle found to be associated with common connotations of the word tween including being regarded as nothing more than the bit of flesh between shit and fuck.

That tweener is going to get what she's asking for whether she likes it or not, heh, heh.
