The term originates from Office Hours Global, a daily live-streamed panel discussion between media professionals. The second hour of the show is usually a deep-dive into a specific topic.

Person 1: hey did you hear about that obscure, highly technical feature that Apple released yesterday which is available only in some countries?
Person 2: that’s gotta be a whole second hour.

blue hour 

blue hour is the period of twilight that comes just after sunset. it typically happens at around 5:53, where the day turns to night. its also the title track of tomorrow x together's album 'minisode1 : blue hour'. its a really fun popish beat with a whimsical fairytale video, paired with emotionally touching lyrics about love, yet it doesnt come off as even a little cliche. its a very unique and refreshing concept that the band executed very well.

Silver hour

Referring to most beach communities, the silver hour is the point in the day when the sun has just set over the horizon leaving an "silvery" view out into the ocean. For many, this is an opportune time to have a first cocktail of the evening before the group heads back to house to clean up and finalize dinner plans.

Chris: "What time should I make dinner reservations at the Crab Trap?"

Stephanie: "How about 8:00. I'd like to have a few cocktails at silver hour first"
