dining in the dark

Basically eating in the dark.

A new popular trend where people go to a restaurant, are seated by legally blind waiters/waitresses and eat entirely in a pitch black room.

Why? The idea is that your other senses are heightened, thus making your meal more “sensual”.

It’s more for than the experience than for the food.
Millennial: Hey man lets go to Opaque, it’s way cool.
Other millennial: oh the new dining in the dark place?
Millennial: yeah, then we can eat with our hands and no one will know!

dining room table

Someone who is unable to think for him- or herself and attempts to liken President Obama with Hitler.
Dude, I'd explain why the sky is blue, but you're so stupid you're a dining room table.

Dining Common

n.
Any one of the four cafeteria's located around the University of Massachusetts/Amherst campus. Given the refined title of Dining Common to hide the gross state of the dining facility from the uninitiated. Also known as the DC.
Unless you go to Umass you have no idea what a Dining Common is.

Dude, I just ate at the DC and now I have a Peruvian parasite gnawing through my lower intestines.

Those dickheads that sit at Denny's talking about this, that, and some mothers.
The dining philosophers have finally decided on 4 grandslams.
