wikipedia

an evil EVIL website encyclopedia that LIES to you (LIES!!!) and tries to make you believe that it is on the side of good, and not an evil dictating government system that controls all.... *tear *sniff so sad.
(aka: basically you cant write whatever you want on wikipedia about whatever you want, they just want you to think that and since everyone can just go on and change it and if enough people agree with it then its deemed correct, it is not a reliable source of information. unlike THIS site.)
wikipedia=bad (a definite NO-NO)

Wikipedia

An online encyclopedia, Wikipedia was founded by Jimmy Wales. Meant to be a "free encyclopedia", it has since become a controversial and questionable source of information.
While Wikipedia is good for basic facts, it must be taken with a grain of salt, especially since many of its editors are agenda driven ideologues in one or another way.

Wikipedian

A derogitory term used to describe a person who derives the vast majority of their comedic material from wikipedia; usually by playing on its vulnerability to pranks.
Well if wikipedia's to be believed, Osama bin Laden is hiding in George Bush's toilet! ... Dude, you're such a wikipedian.

wikipedia race

A game played at wikipediarace.com, where you start at one random wikipedia article, and try to get to another by clicking on links in the article. What makes it a race? The links disappear from the page while you are reading, forcing you to click at a frantic pace. Beware of playing this game if you are in college, because it could do serious damage to your GPA!
Damn, I just did a 9 step wikipedia race from 'French Fries' to 'Barbara Streisand'

Wikipedia Racing

A game played by two or more people, each with his or her own computer at hand. Players agree upon a Wikipedia article as the "target" before the race. On the count of three, all players click the "random article" link on the left side of the page to start each player off at a random starting point. By only clicking links on the articles, each player vies to be the first to get to the "target" page.

Notes:
-Players ARE allowed to use the "back" button on the browser
-Players ARE NOT allowed to use links on the left side bar of Wikipedia (main page, etc.)
-Players ARE NOT allowed to use the "Categories" link at the bottom of the page, but other lists (e.g. Forbes 500 companies, etc) ARE allowed.
Wikipedia Racing Game:

Target: Orange (color)
3...2...1... "random article"
"Famous Russian Gymnasts" ...shit.
-Russia
-Education in Russia
-Science
-Physics
-Electromagnetic Spectrum
-Orange
