Athletic underpants worn by cheerleaders (and others, such as dancers and tennis players) underneath their skirts to cover their panties. Bloomers come in a wide variety of colors to match the rest of the uniform. They usually come in one of two styles--regular briefs (with a high-cut leg opening) or boy-cut briefs. Some cheer squads like to show their spirit by wearing sparkly bloomers or bloomers with some type of logo imprinted on the butt. Bloomers are also called spankies, lolipops, briefs, or tights.

As the cheerleader leaned over to pick up her pom-poms, she accidentally flashed her bloomers to the crowd.

Boomer Sooner 

1. The fight song for the University of Oklahoma.

2. A chant amongst alumni and fans of the school. When in the presence of other Sooner fans, one person must first yell "Boomer!!!" and it is the duty of someone nearby to reply "Sooner!!!". Both must be done as loudly as possible.

(Can result in embarrassment when one yells "Boomer!!!" under the false pretense other Sooner fans are around, and receives no response as a result.)

Symptoms of this type of salesperson vary, and may include, but are not limited to: store making $35000 worth of sales by noon but only actually being scored as having $15000 worth, the line at customer service being three times as long as the line any department on the sales floor, and the registers at Customer Service running out of change hours before the registers at any of the front registers.

Boomer Tech 

In silicon valley, Boomer tech companies are often referred to companies that are past their prime and aren't innovating anymore. These companies may also have a dying business model and are known to use old technology stacks.

In the tech industry, a career with such companies are frowned upon.

Examples: IBM, Cisco, Dell, and Oracle.

Sal: Should I take up my internship offer at IBM?

Murr: No! IBM's a boomer tech company, your career will end before it starts.
