The Phrase used when rejecting someone's invitation to a dinner party, movie, date, or coffee run. If you are given this response, know that the person will not, "Check thier schedule," but just wants to get the hell away from you.
"Hey Sarah, I'm having this thing at my house on Saturday, and I was wondering if you.."

"Oh, yeah, I'll have to check my schedule."

granny schedule 

the process in which a person battling a messed up sleeping pattern decides to skip 1 day of sleep in order to fall asleep by 8 p.m. and be awake by 4 a.m. Thus starting a new healthier sleeping pattern, like grannies.
Damn foo! I'm so tired, I didn't go to sleep last night because I want to go on granny schedule!

The cockiest thing someone can say.

Being forced to do something you don't really want to do or having unwanted obligations. Usually refers to a controlling girlfriend.
Nicole wants me to go with her to see some chick flick on Saturday night. It's all one big schedule with her.

schedule nazi 

A person who maniacally controls the schedule of a group gathering or event to the point where everyone else wants to kill them.

This person is particularly rampant during family events and the hectic holiday season.
"Guys, we need to be back by 4pm or the baby is going to miss his nap. Do you have your shoes on yet? Were leaving in 3 minutes. I'm going to wait in the car" * door slam *

schedule shuffle 

The act of not attending any classes until the last available date to change classes for the semester, and then dropping all previous classes and adding new ones in order to be able to tell your professor, "I just added this class yesterday" and avoid being accountable for the quickly accumulating absences.
Marcin missed the first two weeks of the semester so he did the schedule shuffle to avoid awkward conversations with disrespected teachers and avoid absence penalties.

ish-schedule 

An inexact work schedule used extensively in American business (especially by executives) to artificially create a shorter workday to allow more time for golf.
Around here we work an ish-schedule. I work 8-ish to 4-ish.
