factualize

To mislead by seeming to give proof to an unproven theory or conjecture.

Factualization is usually accomplished by highlighting the portions of a theory that align with the desired outcome of the factualization while omitting and/or downplaying the portions of the theory that do not.

Factualization is generally practiced by a lawyer, a politician, a con man and/or a used car salesman. A person who is proficient at the art of factualization is known as a spin doctor.

militant factualism

Militant factualism is an adherence or devotion to facts that is aggressively imposed upon others.

Militant factualists make correcting even the most minor factual mistakes their raison d’être. No matter the situation, they are compelled to assert their factual dominance over others.

mf: You mean the remote control?

me: Quit with the militant factualism!

Was not intended to be a factual statement

... is the credo of the republican party! The GOP intentionally tells blatant lies and, when caught, responds with their national credo. "This remark was not intended to be a factual statement"
GOP: The world is made up of 98% dead babies!
Person With Brains: That is just not even close to being true!
GOP: Well... That remark was not intended to be a factual statement.
PWB: Then why did you say it?
GOP: We never expected to get caught!
PWB: Then it is a blatant lie!
GOP: Sure, if you look at it that way. We conservatives don't see things that way.
PWB: Um... Yeah... a lie!

Factual Evidence

A rarely used redundancy used in order to put greater emphasis on an evident truth with supporting facts, most commonly used by people with a higher intelligence than others.
