Will work their butt's off, and still seem like they're not doing much. Have impeccable style, and aren't afraid to tell you how it is. Don't piss off the receptionist, she does talk to the higher up's, and your name will come up.

Used as a verb, to give someone a receptionist is to hold out your open hand, palm up - in a cupping gesture - when they're walking towards you.
