Headset Hair

Commonly acquired after wearing a headset (i.e. XBOX Live Headset) for as little as 10minutes.

Resembles hat hair: But runs from one ear, across the top of the head, and down to the opposite ear.
Very recognizable to any gamer.
Very embarrassing to have.

1.) -"Hey man, sorry i'm late. I ran into some trouble on the way over here."

-"Dude, i know you were playing XBOX, i can see your Headset Hair."

2.) -"Dude, take off the hat. We're going in the pool."

-"No way man. I have Headset Hair. I'm so embarrassed."

Headset Hero

An online gamer who enjoys talking smack over the headset in an attempt to belittle or intimidate other users. Unfortunately the gamer in question is most often unable (or unwilling) to "back-up" their words with potential action and is therefore referred to as a "Headset Hero"

In other words: The "Headset Hero" is a gamer who will talk like a tough guy on the headset when his anonymous words will likely lead to no repercussions; however in person they are likely the opposite of the persona represented online.

The defined gamer is often easily identified by their prepubescent voice or lack of verbal skills.

Gamer 1 - "I could kick your ass...your such a pussy...you stupid mother...etc, etc. etc."
Gamer 2 - "What a fucking Headset Hero...shut the fuck up man!"

The act of wearing a telephone headset prior to going to talk to someone who is either a bore or take much more time than needed. When you tire of the conversation you act like you are answering your phone and walk away. Very useful when the use of the kaygina shuffle is difficult.

I have to go talk to Bill, I am wearing my headset so I can make a quick exit by using a headset fake and pretending to answer a phone call
