Get the Copy Paste Dump mug.A victim of a widely-spread error: A computer user intends to use an original document as a template, copies it into the Windows clipboard, pastes it into a new document and does the changes. The user, however, does the changes in such a sloven way that the new text still contains numerous elements of the original one, and therefore blurring the intended meaning of the new text. The unmodified elements however should have been changed in order to make the text internally consistent. Copy paste victims often work under a strong pressure of time and can be found in all social classes.
Boss: Please prepare the shareholders meeting minutes. I need them today.
Secretary: All right, boss. Can I use the last meeting's minutes as a template?
Boss: Sure. Just make sure, that you got everything.
<Secretary proceeds as described above: Exampe - Original: "The meeting was held on May 10, 2004."
Copy: "The meeting was held on April 27, 2004(!).">
...
Secretary: OK, boss. I have prepared the minutes for you. Here they are.
Boss <after a brief study, with a worrying facial expression>: Oh, no, you copy paste victim! You forgot to change the year. The meeting was held on April 27, this year and not last year *grumble*.

Get the copy paste victim mug.Similar to games such as The Game, Copy/Paste is a game to be had at random times with friends and such.
What happens is one person may say something, and another may say "copy" to copy a certain length of sentence from the other person. The person must make eye contact or point at designated target to copy from that person. The victim may then be 'pasted' on which the person who copied would look at that person by pointing or eye contact, and say "paste". The victim would then have to repeat that length of sentence on request of the copier.
However, some rules still apply.
-A person may only have one copy per person.
-If a person says "cut" intentionally at the end of their sentence, no other person may "copy" that persons sentence.
-If a victim cannot remember their copy, the copier must re-inform them of what it was. This cannot be copied.
Have fun.

Get the Copy/Paste (Mind Game) mug.The lowest form of life on the internet, looked down upon and hated even by other trolls.
The copy/paste troll repeatedly pastes the same text block in a forum, with little to no variation, never posting anything other than that same copied and pasted block of text, over and over. Sometimes, the copy/paste troll will have multiple accounts running simultaneously, making them more annoying, and harder to ban.
Some copy/paste trolls may be preprogrammed bots that repeatedly post the paste while the owner is off doing other stuff, but others are human users that have even less of a life than a WoW user.

Get the Copy/Paste Troll mug.Biased politics that exist solely in the social media format. It involves the act of copying/pasting links to mostly erroneous biased social groups and media outlets, to prove one's argument. Sharing the same source applied as well. The term also explains a watered down or mutated version of facts and evidence, as it is ceaselessly copied over and over. Mostly, the tumor caused by the aforementioned mutation takes the form of a meme.
Did you see the recent Buzzfeed post on Facebook about the top 10 white privilege offenders in Hollywood?
No. Dude, don't get so caught up in Copy-Paste Politics now-a-days.

Get the Copy-Paste Politics mug.A forum or question/answer site user (often a moderator) who replies to questions by quickly Googling something that sounds relevant and simply copy/pasting it into his/her reply. Often never understanding or even fully reading the original post at all. A Copy Paste Hero never posts the correct answer, as the person asking the question has obviously already Googled everything that can be instantly found on the subject.
Original Poster: How do I change the Windows mouse pointer's color?
Copy Paste Hero: Below are the steps on how to change the Microsoft Windows mouse cursor. It is important to realize that some programs may use their own mouse cursors and that following the below steps will only change the Windows cursors and not the cursors used in third-party programs or games.
1 Open the Control Panel.
2 In the Control Panel double-click the Mouse icon.
3 In the Mouse Properties click the Pointers tab.
4 In Pointers click the down arrow on the Scheme and select another cursor scheme you wish to use.
In addition to changing the scheme you can individually change each cursor by double-clicking each of the cursors and selecting the new cursor you wish to use. If you individually change each cursor or modify a scheme with new cursors we suggest saving the scheme as a new scheme.
I hope that helped.
(Note the Copy Paste Hero did not even read the question properly as the Original Poster asked how to change the COLOR, which was completely missed or ignored in the reply.)
