An old Mexican woman who no longer gives a fuck about anyone or anything and will not hesitate to beat your ass with a chancleta.

Don't mess with my abuela. She's a chanclasaurus! She's old and doesn't take shit from anyone. I think she beat Jesus' ass with his own chancletas.

Hot chanclas

An expression when you think something is “poppin” or “cool” or if you want to express the term “damn” but need it to sound nicer

Example 1:
Person #1: look at what I got
Person #1 shows person #2 a gold chain
Person #2: “ hot chanclas!” I need a gold chain too!

Example #2:

Person forgets something they needed at home and they exclaim: “hot chanclas!”
