North Rockland High School

A fucking disgusting place that should not exist. Shit food. Shit staff. Shit students. And of course, shit teachers. At first I loved this school, really! But now its just filled with Thot Freshmen, Nicotine Addict Sophomores, Stressed Juniors, and Stoner Seniors. Not to mention the food. Holy shit. 4/5ths of the food isn't food. The students all have fake New York accents. For ex. Why don't you talk normal. NY Accent: Why don you toke normal. Freshmen and Juniors tend to think they are affiliated with the gang, Crips. Anyone with a lunch period does not eat lunch, but they go to the dugouts to smoke by the pound. Mostly spending the rest of their day, high. Seniors tend to shove Freshmen in lockers and Sophomores do most of the shoving, from their experience and traumatization of being bullied from last year. Even though this school is shit, everyone still loves to rep it and act like it's a better school than any others in the county. Please, don't post this on your story.

Sophommores: DEADASS, BEFORE I HIT THIS JUUL, WE GOTTA WEAR ALL BLUE TO REP, CRIP SHIT GDF FOR LIFE MY NIGGA.
Freshman: FUCKING TREESHA.

Rock Band

A game created by Harmonix, involving the simple concept of Guitar Hero, but throwing in a mic, a bass, and drums. It provides a sense of creating your own band, and playing music, without the years of experience on a real instrument! You can form a band via Xbox Live, to have your girl from Hawaii singing, a good friend in Amsterdam on drums and a buddy in Chicago on bass, or you can just have friends come over and enjoy a "virtual garage band" experience. It will be released on November 20th, 2007 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles. A PS2 release is scheduled for 2008. There is a bundle with all instruments at around $200, but the game itself is $60. It will provide backwards compatibility with a Guitar Hero guitar for those who don't want to spend $200. Also available are downloadable albums with all the songs, from the album, playable in the game. (The Who's "Who's Next" album, the first out of many albums that are going to be released), seperate songs and other DLC on the Xbox Live Marketplace, and PS3 Network, for a microtransaction of course.

If you're interested, you can check out www.rockband.com to see in-depth info on the game.
I can't wait to bang on those drums in Rock Band!

I can't wait to sing on the mic in Rock Band!

I can't wait to jam out on the guitar in Rock Band!

I can't wait to slap that bass in Rock Band!

Rock Band

Annoying the hell out of neighbors since 2007.
Does the guy next door playing Rock Band really think he can sing because it just sounds like someone is dying over there. And the drums... oh the drums... Can someone just shoot me in the face and end it already?

rockland

A suburban county north of NYC. It's no more upstate then Westchester yet people feel the need to bash it as a "wasteland" near Albany in a futile attempt to make their own hometown feel important. Unlike surrounding areas, the people of Rockland are not arrogant and condescending.
I can hop on the Palisades and get to Midtown in 30 minutes from Orangetown, a lot closer than many of you Rockland-bashers from Westchester and LI.

Rock Band 2

The successor of the video game "Rock Band" by game developer Harmonix, the creater of the first 2 "Guitar Hero" games. Owning this game will ruin your life! You won't be able to put it down and will end up spending hundreds of dollars on downloadable content (new songs). The game allows you to bring most of your "Rock Band 1" songs with you to the new game. There are currently over 550 songs available to play. SEE "Rock Band" for more info.
I was playing Rock Band 2 last night online and this bitch couldn't sing worth a shit, we saved her ass twice and we still didn't get to finish the song!

All of these people who call Rockland "upstate nowheresville" and Westchester "hip and bustling" downstate have obviously never been to Rockland. They have just driven through it on the NYS Thruway and pass it off as something it really isn't without actually seeing it. It's culturally no different from the other suburbs, and its no farther away from NYC, so stop badmouthing before you've actually seen it. In addition, Rockland's median household income in 2003 was higher than that of Westchester, Nassau, or Suffolk (7th in the nation), so calling it 2nd class is wrong.
"Hmm let's see I live in Tarrytown, which is in awesome downstate NY. But that Nyack place which is 3 miles due west from here and the same distance from NYC as me is wayyyy upstate. I think it's right next to Canada"
