Paki 

1. An extremely offensive slur used predominantly to Pakistanis or those of Pakistani descent. Started off as a slur in the 1960's against South asians as a whole, but now used mostly against Pakistanis, even by other South asians themselves.

2. Pakistanis can only reclaim this slur and predominantly use it as slang or jokes. Not to be said by any other South asian eg indians or bengalis. Ask any Pakistani and they will tell you it's for Pakistanis only

3. It is a slur and it is offensive, and no its not like "brit" because brit was never used as a slur and never will. No other South asians cannot use it as they've literally used it against us, and the rule applies to this as it does to Chinese people only being allowed to reclaim the c slur.

No the shop down the road that is run by a Pakistani man isn't the "paki- shop" and calling it that is racist.

Paki acquired offensive connotations in the 1960s when used by British tabloids to refer to subjects of former colony states in a derogatory and racist manner. In modern British usage "Paki" is typically a derogatory label referring to South Asians beyond Pakistan, including those from India, Afghanistan and elsewhere

Can be referred as derogatory, offensive and racist.

A Pakistani or more generally, a person who is perceived to be a Pakistani often applied to persons of any South Asian or Middle Eastern origin or indeed immigrant. Although deriving from the word Pakistan ,Paki became offensive during the 1960s when used by british citizens to refer to immigrants in a racist manner.

paki is an OFFENSIVE SLUR, many people think it's just a short version for the word Pakistani but it was used by white british people whilst they bashed up people from South Asian descent and yelled the work paki whilst doing it. This was then called paki bashing. No one should say this word unless they are South Asian, periodt.

Short for Pakistani. Only Pakistanis can use this word, it's like the N-word. You dont say paki if you're not pakistani. End of. If you do, it's offensive just as if a white person would say the N-word.

Paki 

A racial slur used against Pakistanis and those perceived as Pakistanis by skinheads in the 60's. The word is extremely racist and shouldn't be used outside of quotes.
