Boy-girlfriend

Definition (noun):

A term used to describe a boy who typically experiences attraction toward girls and would ordinarily refer to a partner as a girlfriend, but who develops a meaningful or affectionate connection with another boy. The term boy-girlfriend is used in place of boyfriend to reflect the individual’s usual language patterns or personal comfort with labels.
The connection can range from a close, non-romantic attachment between two heterosexual or heteroromantic boys to a romantic or homosexual relationship. The term does not assign a specific sexual orientation; rather, it identifies the nature of the relationship between the two individuals.

A true tomboy isn't afraid of feminity, she just spent a lot of time around her father, as many first borns do, but a copycat tomboy tends to be afraid to get the image wrong, and it will show up in the form of excess masculinity and lack of feminity in her, or in excess feminity in her where she expects all masculinity to be outlawed as toxic in anyone else. A girlfriend boy is a boy who is defined strictly by his relationship with his girlfriend. Girlfriend boys will typically neglect all other friendships and personal relationships once they commence a committed relationship with a woman. Girlfriend boy's will general resurface once the relationship comes to and end, or the one night their counterpart is busy having a girl's night.

Gee, Josh has become a real girlfriend boy ever since he started dating Michaela. Yeah, he always does this when he has a girlfriend. I guess we'll see that girlfriend boy again when they break up.

A girly boy, girly boi, femboy, femboi or trap is an effeminate and affectionate younger male expressing motherly qualities. Typically girly boys will have accented hips, plumper lips and wear girls' clothes. Often times girly boys are gay, but this is not always the case. A girly boy who Is straight is typically far more popular with women. Girly boys represent a much cuter and more approachable form of the beta male.
