The truth of a proposition isn't contingent on the emotional state of the person positing the proposition. Metis Nation Status

Metis nation of Ontario offered provincial "status" membership cards which the website refers to as Metis "citizenship" ( of Ontario).

The constitutionally of these provincial "citizenship's" are questionable, as is "dual" citizenship with the provincial ce of Ontario and national citizenship.
