Nani 

Nani (何) just means "what" in japanese. it is one of the few words weeaboos know.

You'd expect that.

guy (we'll name him Aaron): (quietly to himself) I've been studying Japanese...for a while now.
a weeaboo that heard Aaron: Nani o...god I forgot- wait what
Aaron: (turns to the weeaboo) 日本語を勉強してる
