“Sharing the optimism” is the act at which you show your love and gratitude, towards your friends, family or acquaintances when horrifically stoned. This is usually followed by “love hugs”

Because the barer of good news is so overwhelmed they usually burst into hysterics.

reckless optimism 

It means to recognize and accept that certain things and circumstances are shit and super hard to get through. And there are a lot of things to feel negative about and you have to allow yourself to process that negativity and then choose optimism over negativity.
