Unprotected Text 

The text version of "drunk dialing", in which you text someone while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The resulting texts are often composed without a filter between the fingers and the brain. As such, unprotected sex often leads to situations that are, at best, uncomfortable.

Dude 1: Dude, how did Emily end up dating such a troll?

Dude 2: She met him on myspace, man, and they started having unprotected text. Next thing you know, she can't get rid of him...

When the user of a smartphone loses his/her case, and subsequent texting is performed with the fragile exterior of the phone exposed, he or she is engaged in unprotected text.

Person A: "Dude, my iPhone case cracked. I'm now having unprotected text."

Person B: "What's that?"

Person A: "You're an idiot."

If you disable autocorrect and still send messages then you're engaging in unprotected text. Next time use protextion.

I just got this error ridden message from this girl. She must be engaging in unprotected text.
