seasonings greetings

When holiday meals call for a different kind of seasoning.
I can't believe Thanksgiving is almost here, I need to bust out the cloves and cinnamon and wish everyone Seasonings Greetings!

Carolina Seasonings

Carolina Seasonings
noun

The catastrophic event that occurs when a man handles spicy food and forgets—then enthusiastically goes to play with his girlfriend, accidentally turning a moment of romance into a five-alarm fire drill.

Named for the way it burns, spreads, and leaves everyone questioning their life choices. Common side effects include yelping, frantic Googling, ice packs, and a permanent ban on “spicy fingers.”

Usage note:
Always preceded by confidence. Always followed by regret. 🔥🌶️
Example:
“He thought washing his hands earlier counted. Congratulations—he just introduced Carolina Seasonings.”

Shackteâu

A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
In use:
Shackteâu - We thought it was an abandoned shed until the realtor called it a rare alpine Shackteâu with unobstructed views and listed it for $2 million.
