An adjective stemming from the portmanbro of "
bro" and "profound".
Something that is brofound is something that seems profound to the simple-minded
bro; something that is semi-obvious to most
people. Brofound statements can also include phrases that aren't completely true, at least in application.
A saying that is brofound is a broverb (portmanbro of "
bro" and "proverb").
Broverbs are often found in light lettering atop photos with very obvious filters over them.
Examples of brofound phrases (broverbs):
- YOLO (You Only Live Once)
- You only hate me because you're
jealous (of my swag)
- All you need is love, and
everything will be alright.
