The stoplight look away

When you come to a stoplight and casually glance over to the car next to you and see the driver picking his nose. He notices that you’ve caught him knuckle deep. So you both look away and feel awkward until the light turns green and you book it, never to see him again.
The stoplight look away is something that happens to everyone but no one talks about it

Don't look away

The sentence you see in a post regarding the Gaza genocide.

Lehigh Lookaway

A common occurrence among students at Lehigh University. When you see someone that you know as an acquaintance, but not a friend, you look away from them rather than acknowledge their existence. It. Old be anything: your phone, the ground, a squirrel, just not the other person.

Also the name of the satirical newsletter at Lehigh University, named after this phenomenon.
I saw a kid from my Chem class earlier but I forgot his name, so I gave him the Lehigh Lookaway.

Did you see the new post from the Lehigh Lookaway about squirrels being served in the dining hall?
