When a friend or significant other responds to you with "kek," they're uninterested in what you're saying or showing, therefore ending the conversation. This places you into the kekzone for a period of time.

Friend: kek
You: Ugh, kekzone strikes again!

Kelzone 

noun- When you are placed into the Friendzone by a girl named Kelcey or some version of that name (Kelsey, Kelsie, or Kelcie), in which she is making it clear to you that you will only be her friend and that you are not a potential romantic partner.

noun- The Kelzone. The zone of friendship similar to the friendzone that describes a place in which you may reside where you are a friend, and only a friend, of Kelcey.

verb- Kelzone. When a woman named Kelcey puts you in The Kelzone, she has "Kelzoned" you.

noun- "She put me in The Kelzone."

noun- "He's so deep in the Kelzone that he has real estate."

verb- "I wanted to date her, but she Kelzoned me."
