If the intent is to express, not inform, and the person is aware of the real fact, this would be classified as Subinformation.
Explanation:
The speaker logically knows the Himalayas are located in Asia as they express this idea, but their
mental state or subconcious urge may lead them to say otherwise as an emotional response, rather than a logical one.
The intent of Subinformation often needs to be clarified afterward to avoid confusion or misinterpretation.
Example:
- "My brain took a second to catch up. It was just Subinformation, it really feels true to me, but heres the real answer..."
