When a person gets screwed over or "fucked over" by an event. Originally, was in reference to a dongle cable not working correctly, hence, getting "dongled."

Dongled can be used for anything.

When an electronic device, like a laptop or cell phone, has so many cords and attachments that it becomes awkward and cumbersome.
