Apollinaria 

The name Apollinaria is a female name of ancient Roman origin. It means "dedicated to Apollo", the ancient Greek god of the Sun, patron of the arts. This is the feminine form of the masculine name Apollinarius. From Greek, "apolyusis" was interpreted as "liberated". In modern times, the name Apollinaria is attributed the meaning of "urban".
In Russian, the name Apollinaria had a colloquial form of Polina, which later became an independent name. The colloquial form of the name is Polinaria. The affectionate address Lina is also used independently.
